Touching

Find three different textures that you’re drawn within your natural surroundings. For example the rough bark of a tree, a waxy leaf, or the fuzzy texture of a seed pod. Enjoy the textures, gently feel them and note the differences. Play with the sensations on your skin. What is it that appeals to you about these textures? Look for connections between texture, light, shadow, flow and movement. How might these textures be connected to or influence your organism or ecosystem?
